Hi! Hello.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and get to know me. What began as a hobby with herbs soon developed into a strong interest in clinical herbalism (phytotherapy) during the pandemic. A few years later, that interest evolved into a serious pursuit of understanding functional nutrition, functional laboratory testing, accelerated cellular aging, disease prevention, and health optimization as part of my own healing journey.

After decades of high-pressure corporate political work in the technology risk management field and faithful dedication to single parenthood, I found my health spiraling out of control under the weight of profound burnout. Primary care and specialist visits, prescriptions, supplement after supplement, and what seemed to be an endless search for answers to mysterious symptoms and diagnoses were not how I imagined entering my empty-nester years. A few months of frustration taught me some invaluable lessons:

Lesson #1 — Take the driver’s seat in my health care by partnering with my providers, asking questions, understanding the research, and seeking care that could support my healing.

Lesson #2 — Never give up or accept an unwanted health outcome without asking questions and seeking greater understanding. Knowledge is power and becoming informed allowed me to become a more active participant in my health.

Lesson #3 — Most important of all, never doubt or let go of my faith in the Lord. When my own strength fails, I can trust in His strength to sustain me, withstand whatever comes, and carry me through.

From the onset of perimenopause to leaky gut, autoimmune disease, a lupus mystery diagnosis, and, at my lowest point, monitoring for the development of myeloma, my health journey has not been easy. BUT... the Lord is faithful. Through it all, I held firmly to my faith and experienced His sustaining grace through my afflictions and infirmities (Psalm 34:19; Isaiah 53:4).

Today, I’m thriving and prospering in health. During my three-year healing journey, I also earned a degree in integrative nutrition and completed additional training and certifications that deepened my understanding of nutrition, wellness, cellular aging, and the body’s capacity for healing. Now, I look forward to partnering with you on your own health journey to equip, encourage, and empower you to transform your health from struggling to thriving.

Prosper & be in health even as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2)
